On the first night we stayed in this cute little cabin at a KOA campground. It was the ONLY thing available for that night. We cooked outside on the camp stove and after Evie went to bed, Kyle and I enjoyed some wine on the great little porch swing.
On the second day we started out at Arches National Park. We did a mile long hike at one of the stops, as well as a couple of other short hikes.

On Daddy's back in Arches Nat'l Park.
Then we drove to Canyonlands National Park and did another mile long hike there.
Canyonlands: Evie did so well on the hike! She navigated the dirt & rock paths like a pro.
Because all of the cabins and hotels were booked for Saturday night, we ended up driving back to Grand Junction, CO for Saturday and Sunday nights. It was so relaxing! Our hotel room was great: it had a back door leading to a courtyard area where Kyle was able to set up the camp stove for dinners.
On the drive home we stopped to do one last hike: 1 mile up an incline of just over 1,000 feet. At the top was this gorgous lake with crystal blue water, water falls and moss covered rocks: Hanging Lake. It took us just under an hour to get there, but it was definitely worth it. (And thanks to Daddy for doing the hike with Evie on his back!! What a trooper!!)
Walking along the river in Grand Junction. How cute are those glasses! :)
We spent a LOT of time in the nice, warm pool at the hotel. Evie has really grown to love swimming and is so daring now! She jumps off of the side and goes under water and everything.
