Evie's newer thing lately is she makes this noise that sounds like Grover or the Cookie Monster (kind of a raspy-voice-talking-thing). It's pretty hilarious and kind of in line with her fake burps. So when she does it we call her Evie Monster. She is also mastering rolling around on the floor and gets around pretty easily. And though you can't tell by these pictures, her hair is really coming in! It's pretty light, but is getting thicker by the week, I swear! :)
A couple of posts ago there's a video of Grandma Hornickel showing Evie how to do the "ba ba ba" sound by tapping her mouth. Well, Evie figured out how to do it herself! She's just so fun and funny!!This blog highlights the life of our family. Started in December of 2008.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Happy Easter Everybody! These past 2 weeks since I put up a new post have been very productive for little miss Evie! A couple of weeks ago she just took off! She's rolling like crazy! Kyle picked her up from daycare and our daycare lady said, "I put her down on the floor, went to get a glass of juice and by the time I came back she was across the room!" So of course I had to try it at home that night and sure enough, off she goes! It's super cute
Her other new tricks include waving bye (she does that one about half the time), she can pretty much sit up on her own (though we still have to be right there cuz she's still pretty tipsy), she's holding the bottle by herself (a little awkward but it's VERY helpful) and is eating veggies now! Unlike her parents, she even enjoys carrots. (Was crossing my fingers on that one... :). And I'm not sure that it's a "trick", but this week she got her first cold. She's been a trooper: doesn't seem to mind that she's pretty congested and has to breath through her mouth. :(
Here are pictures of her in her adorable Easter dress, sitting by herself!
And Louie was getting "into" the holiday spirit as well. Hee hee... he'd do ANYTHING for a treat! :)
Thanks for the ears Grandma Hornickel!
